Throughout the year, the Center for Prevention of Abuse participates in and hosts a variety of special events and fundraisers. We invite you to mark your calendars, join us, and help us build a safe and peaceful community. All funds raised stay local and go directly toward client services.

Mark you calendar for the 33rd Annual Duck Race benefitting the Center for Prevention of Abuse on Saturday, August 28, 2021!
The Duck Race is CFPA’s signature event and 100% of funds raised support the free and confidential services for survivors of interpersonal violence and abuse. Beginning June 8, rubber ducks are available for “adoption,” online or at one of CFPA sales sites in the community.
Each year, CFPA raises more than $200,000 for survivors of abuse in its community and sells out of all 30,000 ducks. All adopted ducks are assigned numbers to the corresponding adopters and race down a giant water slide at EastSide Centre in East Peoria. Adopters of the first 15 ducks to cross the finish line win prizes — including the $10,000 cash grand prize, $5,000 cash, home accessories, gift cards, and more!
To adopt your duck, visit www.duckracepeoria.com beginning June 8! Join us on Race Day, Saturday, August 28, at EastSide Centre in East Peoria. The fun starts at 4 p.m. with music, food trucks, and vendors, and the race begins at 6 p.m.!
All victim services are free and confidential.
