The Illinois State University School of Social Work and CFPA are proud to host “Intimate Partner Sexual Violence” training on Monday, September 9, 2019. Melissa R McGraw, MA, LCPC, CDVP, CPAIP, CCTP, Director of Counseling Services at Safe Passage in DeKalb, IL will provide an in-depth look at the issue of intimate partner sexual violence, including a historical and cultural context, belief systems of perpetrators, impact on victims, and intervention within PAIP groups.
The Center for Prevention of Abuse will issue CDVP and CPAIP certificates on site at the completion of the training. Illinois State University School of Social Work will issue the Continuing Education Units (CEUs) for any LCSW’s, LSW’s, LPC’s, and LCPC’s registered via email the week after training. A certificate of completion will be issued if CEUs are not needed.
