Join us on Tuesday, May 11 from 5-6:30 p.m. for a free virtual community event to kick off our inaugural virtual human trafficking conference, Light 2021.

Human Trafficking 101 will focus on learning the basics of human trafficking, its definition and impact locally, top industries, red flags and indicators, and what to do if you see suspicious activity. Attendees will also learn about legislative efforts, law enforcement and first responder training, and available local resources for survivors of labor and sex trafficking in Central Illinois.

Currently, this is a virtual event, but could open up to in-person, depending on COVID-19 guidelines and restrictions.
