CFPA’s employees and leadership team work hard to cultivate a supportive, client-focused, and caring work environment. Our therapists, counselors, advocates, caseworkers, communications team, and administrative department work from their hearts to ensure all clients feel safe, protected, and at home.
If you share CFPA’s mission to help all women, men, and children live free from violence and abuse, are passionate about helping people, and are dedicated to making a difference in the community, we would love to hear from you.
New hires, interns, and volunteers must complete a background check and fingerprinting. CFPA does not discriminate in the hiring and employment of agency personnel, in the selection and utilization of volunteers, or in the provision of program services on the basis of age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, ancestry, ethnic or national origin, place of birth, marital status, disability or handicap, or veteran status.
At CFPA, an intern is defined as a student in college who is required, as part of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in a social service discipline or other related field, to complete a minimum of 200 hours of field work at a social service agency. Special approval is required for a commitment of less than 200 hours. Internships and associated mileage typically are unpaid. The application deadline for summer and fall internships is March 15th; the deadline for spring internships is October 15th.
