peacekeeper society
The Peacekeeper Society recognizes those who are committed to The Center?s mission, to build a safe, peaceful community.
This year marks the second year of the Peacekeeper Society. Individuals and organizations that have made contributions of $1,000 or more in the 12 month period ending on February 28, 2006 were honored as members of the 2006 Peacekeeper Society.
One Peacekeeper can make a difference in many people?s lives. For example, a gift of $1,000 helps a mother with three children stay at the shelter and receive support for one week. This includes all food, clothing and personal items that are needed. Additionally, around the clock services and support are provided such as individual counseling, educational and employment assistance, court and medical advocacy, and relocation assistance.
If you would like more information about becoming a Peacekeeper, please contact Mary Springer at (309)691-0551 or mspringer@centerforpreventionofabuse.org.
